Private tuition alongside our small-group classes
As well as small-group classes at our centres in Hounslow, Greenford, Hayes/Southall and Slough, Zyzaa Tuition offers private tuition for children who would benefit from more personal attention or a more flexible schedule. Private tuition takes place throughout the week as well as at weekends, so it can fit around school, clubs and family life.

Who is private tuition for?
Every child learns differently. Parents most often ask about private tuition when their child:
- needs to work at a pace that is different from a group, either to catch up or to be stretched further;
- wants to concentrate on one subject or one topic, such as fractions, essay writing or a particular area of GCSE Science;
- is preparing for the 11+ or GCSE exams and needs a plan built around a specific target;
- cannot attend a weekend group class because of other commitments; or
- would like extra confidence before moving up to a new school year or key stage.
Subjects and year groups
Our tutors teach Maths, English and Science from Year 1 to GCSE, and prepare children for the 11+. Tell us your child’s year group, the subject and what you would like them to achieve, and we will let you know what we can offer.
- Years 1 & 2 – building secure foundations in reading, writing and number
- Years 3–6 – confidence, problem-solving and independent learning
- Years 7–9 – Key Stage 3 and preparing for GCSE
- Years 10 & 11 – GCSE Maths, English and Science
Private tuition or small-group classes?
Both can work well, and the right choice depends on your child. Small groups of up to eight pupils give children the chance to learn alongside others working at a similar level, and monthly fees start from £120 (see our pricing page). Private tuition gives your child’s tutor more freedom to adapt the pace and focus to one learner.
